As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to outstanding customer service help create a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as needed while on patrol.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
