As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare facility in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to assist visitors, staff, and patients as needed.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as situations require.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Support the overall security-related operations of the healthcare location by maintaining a visible presence and being attentive to the surroundings.
