By conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Complete required documentation, such as incident and daily activity reports, accurately and promptly.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and potential hazards in a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.
