By conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR or first aid is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents encountered during patrols.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Complete required documentation, such as incident and daily activity reports, accurately and promptly.
Remain alert to surroundings and potential hazards in a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.
