About The Position

As a Security Officer in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your visible presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure environment, while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening procedures for individuals and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by assisting with inquiries and delivering security-related information as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location.
