About The Position

As a Security Officer Healthcare Watch in Portsmouth, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and maintained.
Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to de-escalate issues involving visitors, patients, and/or staff.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, document observations, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control and visitor screening practices as assigned, while providing courteous assistance and clear directions within the location.
