About The Position

Summary: Monitors and patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests, employees, the company and its property. Promotes outstanding guest relations. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. Essential Functions: Protects the casino and all employees and guests of the casino Guards all transfers of moneys and tokens on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of hopper fills, chip fills and credits Interacts with guests and employees in a professional manner and interacts with local law enforcement agencies as required Patrols all areas of the casino and hotel Assists guests with room keys Responds to reports of guest or employee injury or illness Pins out rooms at the direction of supervisors Preserves the scene of criminal activity for investigators and outside agencies Utilizes Scan-Exec bar code scanning device to document patrol Performs table game fills, transports markers to main cage and verifies slot jackpots Assists disabled guests with wheelchair escorts Directs evacuations during emergencies and assists guests as needed Assigns keys from Key-Trac system to other associates Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations Mans the fire control center and lost and found as needed Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Alcohol awareness
  • Gaming
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and in noisy, smoky environments
  • Walking, standing and working indoors (more than 75% of the time)
  • Vision, hearing, speech and literacy (critical)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous law enforcement, military and/or EMT experience
