About The Position

As a Security Officer - Day Shift in Benton Harbor, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

Supervisory experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications for the site, including radio, telephone, and electronic systems, to support security-related operations.
Dispatch Allied Universal personnel to designated areas within the manufacturing and industrial location as needed, based on incidents or requests.
Maintain accurate records of all calls, incidents, and activities in dispatch logs and/or electronic systems.
Assist in managing access control by verifying credentials and directing visitors or contractors to appropriate areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing support to on-site teams.
Communicate important information and updates to Allied Universal personnel and/or site management as required.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized activities within the location.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to coordinate emergency response activities when appropriate.
