Based on a survey conducted with 3,258 Cirkul Customers What is this role? As a Security Officer for Cirkul, you will be an essential part of ensuring the safety and security of Cirkul’s people, operations, and reputation. As a uniformed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in protecting the business, while maintaining a safe and secure environment that is compliant with GMP standards. You will execute the day-to-day security functions as part of the 24/7 Security Operations team across Cirkul locations. 4914 Joanne Kearney Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619 Monday-Friday, 8:30pm to 5:00am What does an average day look like? Driving Results: Demonstrating professionalism in performance and demeanor that instills confidence in upholding Cirkul’s core values. Maintaining consistent focus and awareness while working in a stressful environment which includes machinery and people while making effective decisions in both routine and crisis situations. Taking Ownership: Take a proactive approach to becoming a subject-matter expert on all security policies and procedures to respond quickly, mitigating risks, and minimizing damage or harm to individuals or property. Ensuring safety and security of personnel and facilities through situational awareness, physical patrols, checking security technology measures, alarms, fences, gates, or other barriers throughout Cirkul property, to ensure they are functioning properly. Routinely utilize security technologies, such as CCTV, to mitigate potential security incidents. Making Decisions: Utilize critical thinking to mitigate potential and actual threats or vulnerabilities by identifying, evaluating, and applying appropriate situational responses, while remaining calm under pressure. Controls access by monitoring identification and validating credentials of individuals, employees, and vendors entering Cirkul facilities. Conducting searches as outlined in the standard operating procedures. Cultivating Relationships: Work in a friendly, team environment with a focus on safety and security, and company culture. Build relationships by having a positive attitude, interacting with the workforce, and willingness to work with multiple levels of employees. Exercise oral communication and interpersonal skills to diffuse and maintain control of difficult situations. Instilling Trust: Retains and implements knowledge of all applicable standard operating procedures, demonstrating responsible and dependable behavior, and is open to change and adapts to new information or unexpected obstacles. Demonstrates command presence and situational awareness while on duty and during times of crisis. Customer Focus: Balance maintaining security posture while utilizing risk-based decision making to maintain compliance while supporting operational and customer needs. Reports and manages security incidents as directed by Cirkul’s Security Leadership team.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in physical security, military, or law enforcement
Possess FL D License or ability to attain a license within weeks of hiring.
Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends, should it be necessary to properly manage a crisis or emergency event.
Valid driver’s license, ability, and willingness to occasionally travel short distances between facilities due to operational need.
Comfortable with temperatures that can vary between 60°F and 90°F in some parts of the warehouse.
Ability to stand on your feet for up to 12 hours a day and be able to walk, push, pull, squat, bend and reach during shifts.
Willing to work hard, stay until the job is complete, and demonstrate resilience and sound judgment.
Proficient in use of computers and various computer programs (Microsoft office, word, excel).
Ability to adhere to and uphold strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards.
