We are seeking dependable and professional Security Officers for upcoming opportunities on all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd, full-time or part-time) at various fixed locations in Amsterdam, NY. Once assigned, these positions offer set schedules, providing consistency and stability for the right candidates. Pay rates range from $17.50–$17.75 per hour, depending on site location. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with basic technology, including CCTV and reporting tools.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to stay calm and respond appropriately in emergencies.

• Previous security experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train you.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walking patrols to ensure safety and identify any unusual activity.
• Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment.
• Complete clear and accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and site staff.
• Follow established protocols and contact emergency services when needed.
