About The Position

The Security Guard provides protection for the facility, employees and product by performing a wide variety of duties.

Requirements

• High School diploma or (GED) equivalent
• Ability to spend the majority of the work day standing and walking
• Availability to work various days of the week and times of day preferred
• Availability to work additional hours when needed preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs required
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to in all weather conditions making outside rounds during all seasons
• Ability to make rounds in the facility which will also expose them to a variety of temperatures and conditions
• Bilingual a plus

Nice To Haves

• Prior uniformed security experience preferred
• Availability to work various days of the week and times of day preferred
• Availability to work additional hours when needed preferred

Responsibilities

• Checks all boxes, packages, bags, containers and the likes that are entering and leaving the property.
• Conducts security rounds.
• Writes reports.
• Enforces policies and procedures
• Performs or ensures inspection of all incoming and outgoing truck traffic making notation of specific information on the Truck Log.
• Performs or ensures tours of specific checkpoints with the complex to include after-hours refrigerated trailer inspections.
