Security Officer (PRN)

What You Will Do The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, and staff, while protecting community property. This role is also responsible for verifying the scheduled presence of all employees and third-party contractors on the grounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must possess a valid, active driver’s license in good standing with the state
- Minimum of one year of security experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions carefully and completely
Responsibilities
- Make scheduled rounds inside and outside of the buildings to ensure a secure environment for residents and staff
- Respond promptly to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls
- Complete work in the order of priority set by the supervisor
- Perform light maintenance as time allows, including changing light bulbs, touch-up painting, and similar tasks
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper working condition
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
