As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors, respond to concerns with professionalism, and document observations. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating notifications, and supporting medical staff directions as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Monitor access control points by observing visitor flow, verifying authorized entry when required by site policy, and reporting irregularities through established communication channels.
• Complete accurate reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or unusual events, and communicate status updates to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and local responders when required.
