The Security Officer provides security services to ensure order and safety of patients, visitors and hospital personnel. Job Title: Security Officer Location: Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, Orlando, FL Department: WPH Protective Services Type: Variable Full Time Shift: Days The Security Department provides security for a safe workplace, on a 7-day a week twenty four hour a day basis. It has a manager and security officers. South Lake Hospital currently utilizes contractual security services (Miller & Miller Investigative and Security). Security is also provided at each Free-Standing Emergency Department Blue cedar ER and Four corners ER. Security activities include patient/visitor screening at each hospital, patrol of the interior and exterior of each hospital, manning of strategic fixed posts, parking management and enforcement, access control management.
