Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report maintenance, operational, or security-related issues observed during patrols and inspections.
