The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and fellow employees. This role involves providing directions, escorts, and assistance to guests, as well as assisting civil and law enforcement authorities, including providing testimony in legal proceedings. Key duties include performing chip fills, jackpot verifications, and money escorts. The officer must be prepared to provide first aid and CPR when necessary and will patrol all areas of the property to identify safety hazards and security concerns. The position also requires interviewing, investigating, and documenting incidents according to company policy, completing detailed lost and found reports, and enforcing all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintaining attendance standards and adhering to departmental and company guidelines are also essential.
