As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Associate in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A primarily driving post is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner and report findings through required communications and documentation channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, gates, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access, and/or operational concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, checking credentials as required, and directing individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor security-related conditions using foot patrol observations and/or available systems, and coordinate with site contacts and/or local responders when escalation is needed.
