As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout the property. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, so you will operate company or client vehicles as part of your patrol responsibilities.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to support security-related objectives within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site protocols.
