The Security Officer ensures a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all guests, curators, and visitors at Dellshire Resort. This position protects the property and assets by performing routine patrols, monitoring activity, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed documentation while exemplifying the resort’s values of hospitality, integrity, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred; hospitality environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol resort grounds, buildings, and parking areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activity, safety hazards, and security risks.
  • Monitor surveillance systems, fire panels, and alarm systems; respond immediately to irregularities or emergencies.
  • Greet and assist guests, curators, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy while maintaining confidentiality and composure.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies, disturbances, and guest or curator concerns, following established safety and incident response procedures.
  • Complete detailed incident and shift reports with accuracy and clarity.
  • Enforce resort policies, procedures, and safety regulations in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Collaborate with management and local authorities as needed in emergency or investigation situations.
  • Conduct key control and property access audits.
  • Support lost and found procedures and ensure proper handling and documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing safety and emergency response training.
