Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Route in Bellevue, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for all occupants. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and a caring approach. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for potential issues.
Document observations and/or incidents in accordance with company and location protocols.
Communicate clearly and courteously with clients, visitors, and/or employees while representing Allied Universal.
Collaborate with site management and/or local authorities when required, following established guidelines.
