About The Position

TRIDENT is searching for a Security Officer to provide professional safety and security coverage at client locations in Cupertino, CA. We need someone dependable, service-minded, and able to maintain composure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong observational instincts and an unwavering professional demeanor are essential for this role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior security or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Must obtain or currently hold a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
  • Valid California Driver's License required.
  • Composure: Keeps a professional, even-keeled demeanor even in high-pressure or difficult situations.
  • Attentiveness: Highly observant with a strong ability to notice details and recognize potential risks.
  • Service Orientation: Dedicated to positive, respectful, and helpful interactions with everyone on site.
  • Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and accountable — day in and day out.
  • Teamwork: Works well with teammates, client staff, and public safety partners toward shared goals.

Responsibilities

  • Join a team of Security Specialists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees at retail locations.
  • Perform scheduled foot patrols throughout assigned areas to remain visible and deter any unauthorized behavior.
  • Identify, escalate, and respond to conditions that appear unsafe or out of the ordinary.
  • Investigate, document, and report security incidents, accidents, and property maintenance concerns.
  • Promptly respond to requests for assistance from supervisors, clients, or other site personnel.
  • Lend support to client staff navigating evacuations, emergency events, or hazardous conditions.
  • Assist with managing crowds and work in coordination with public safety officials when the situation requires it.
  • Validate employee credentials when personnel are accessing restricted areas of client property.
  • Conduct parking enforcement and assist in the resolution of vehicle-related matters on site.
  • Treat every customer and employee encounter with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.
  • Administer First Aid, CPR, or AED as needed during medical emergencies (when certified).
