Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location where you will manage access control, verify credentials and badges, and help maintain a welcoming, professional entry experience. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to questions and concerns with strong customer service and communication. Comfort using a computer and/or tablet supports accurate visitor logs and clear reporting.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry points using visitor management tools, identification checks, badge issuance, and access logs to help support authorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control and document deliveries, shipments, and contractor access, verifying approvals and directing individuals to designated areas per site policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns.
