About The Position

The Security Officer monitors all casino areas to ensure safety and security.

Urgently hiring for first shift (7am-3pm) and second shift (3pm-11pm) part time
and full time opportunities are available. Retention incentives available for
this position up to $1,000! In addition to hourly wage, a shift differential
will be added to 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work demands
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Must be detail oriented
• Entry level, no experience necessary
• Missouri Gaming Level II Gaming License required.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbal and written.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must have basic computer skills
• Planning, remembering details, using arithmetic, reading, directing others, making decisions, working rapidly, working at various tempos, concentrating amid distractions, remembering faces and names, examining and observing details

Responsibilities

• Safeguards assets of the company.
• Provides for the protection of guests, employees, and property.
• Patrols assigned areas and assists guests and team members as needed.
• Examines doors, windows, gates, etc, to ensure they are secure
• May occasionally perform other safety incidental duties, only when guest safety is an issue
• Completes the inspection procedures for used cards and dice, if authorized.
• Completes the canceling or destroying procedures for cards and dice, if authorized.
• Other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor or management
