Job Description As a Security Officer - Evening Foot Rounds in Mukilteo, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide customer service while supporting a people-first culture. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor check-in, and coordinate with authorized personnel for entry approvals as required by site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications and coordinating with onsite contacts and/or public responders when directed.
- Complete shift logs and incident reports, document observations and actions taken, and communicate relevant information during post handoff to support continuity of security-related operations.
