Part Time Security Officer
About The Position
This position is for a Security Officer/Guard at Securitas, a company dedicated to making the world a safer place by protecting homes, workplaces, and communities. The role involves actively monitoring premises, including patrolling various locations, to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients. Security Officers preserve order, enforce regulations and directives, and provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary, as the company provides training, making it a suitable role for individuals from retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds, or those new to the security industry.
Requirements
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills
- Must pass our drug screen and background check
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Responsibilities
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site
- Provides for the security and safety of client property and personnel
- Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
- Actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
- Provides customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers
