As a Security Officer at Banner North Colorado Medical Center, you will respond to emergency situations, assist in ensuring patient and visitor safety and security, patrol service areas, including the grounds, and provide alarm monitoring and response. This team works 12-hour shifts (for both days and nights), a $5/hour night shift differential when you work a minimum of 2 hours in the night shift “window” which is 7pm to 7am. This is a full time Security Officer position floating to Banner Fort Collins Medical Center and North Colorado Medical Center. Hours are Wednesday Noon - 1800 and Thursday – Saturday 0600 – 1800. Physical testing upon hire: 20 squat thrusts and 2 flights of stairs in 2 minutes. Failure to meet or maintain standards will affect employment. POSITION SUMMARY This position patrols the facilities and grounds; assists with the welfare and safety of personnel and patients; investigates critical incidents; assists employees, patients and visitors; interfaces with emergency response agencies; secures doors; monitors parking and traffic control. Performs assigned security duties promptly and accurately. Works varied assignments and shifts.
