About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is seeking experienced and dependable Unarmed Security Officers for a permanent overnight assignment in Reading, PA. This role is well-suited for officers with prior security, military, or law enforcement experience who prefer a consistent night shift and a professional work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience strongly preferred
• Experience with patrol operations, access control, and incident reporting preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Must pass a mandatory background check

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence during overnight hours
• Conduct routine and mobile patrols to deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points, alarms, and site conditions
• Respond to incidents, safety concerns, and emergency situations
• Accurately document incidents and daily activity reports using Belfry Software
• Enforce post orders, site policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and fellow officers
