In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, staff, congregants, and/or guests by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned indoor and outdoor areas, including entrances, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor foot traffic and site activity at retail, public-facing, and community-focused locations, helping to identify unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues for follow-up.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervisors, client representatives, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
