About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hospitality location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with property contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property, including lobbies, corridors, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and high-traffic areas to help support orderly operations, protect property, and provide assistance with directions and/or general guest inquiries.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, relay important information during shift transitions, and follow post orders related to security-related operations and hospitality service standards.
