Job Description As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements
- Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across an educational campus environment.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with campus contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, administrative areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter trespassing, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior while reporting concerns through established communication channels.
- Support daily campus operations by providing directions, assisting with security-related inquiries, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or incidents according to site procedures.
