Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Plant Patrol in Three Rivers, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will remain visible throughout the facility, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the manufacturing and industrial location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
- Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support site operations.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
