Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual conditions observed during assigned shifts.
Collaborate with property management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and requests specific to the location.
Support emergency response efforts as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures.
