As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by screening employees and visitors, verifying access, monitoring entry points, documenting activity, and communicating issues to site leadership. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, and vendors for authorized entry using approved methods such as ID verification, visitor logging, and belongings screening in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor entry points and screening areas for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access, and report concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter as directed by site procedures and operational needs.
