Sunstates Security is currently hiring for a Full-Time Security Officer in the Rutherfordton, North Carolina area. 3rd shift is available! This position offers a pay rate of $22.00/hr - paid weekly . Requirements

1 year or more of security, military, or law enforcement experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills.
Ability to remain professional, calm, and effective in high-pressure situations.
Must be dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe environment.
High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to ensure safety, security, and policy compliance.
Monitor security cameras and access control systems, responding promptly to suspicious activity or alarm.
Maintain high-quality written and verbal communication at all times.
Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation with accuracy and professionalism.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, Operations Managers, and site leadership.
Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality; reliability is a core requirement.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Follow all company policies, post orders, and client expectation.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
