You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
  • Monitor access points, checking for proper identification and controlling entry and exit as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential risks within the tech, media, or telecom environment.
