Job Description As a Security Officer in Contoocook, NH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping to monitor and patrol assigned areas across the site. You will complete routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and outstanding customer service. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity as you support daily operations and build strong relationships on site.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, confirming identification and/or shipment paperwork as required, and directing visitors to proper check-in areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, yards, loading dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor cameras and alarm panels where assigned, complete routine activity reports and incident reports, and communicate observations clearly to supervisors and site contacts.
