Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• EMT certification

Responsibilities

• Control facility access
• Ensure security of facility and oversee camera systems, keys and locks, and electronic door access, Locksmithing
• Control plant ingress and egress
• Test and operate plant alarm system
• Initiate proper notifications in emergency situations
• Respond to emergencies at all Facilities
• Assist with and support emergency response team efforts
• Maintain EMT certification, Obtain IEMT within 1st year of employment
• Participate in drills
• Provides training such as safety meetings, first aid, truck drivers, MSHA hazard training, new hire
• Answer plant phone system
• Prepare overtime meals and maintain inventory of food and supplies
• Maintain 1st aid kit supplies
• Ensure proper safety equipment, paperwork, and bills of lading, shipping documentation, and directions to drivers
• Authorize/Repair safety glasses, to the best of ability
• Issue badges- bus pass, vending, gate ect
• Provides training to lab analysts and warehouse personnel on all security officer responsibilities in case of an emergency
• Design graphics for signs and maintain sigs around facility
• Work overtime and shiftwork as needed
• Assist areas in developing control measures to reduce risk
• Compliance with WE Soda’s record retention policy
• Other assignments as necessary to meet department goals and objectives
• Support ISO 9000 efforts
