As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card/license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual conditions and report security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help support compliance with location rules and restricted area requirements.
Write clear, detailed reports on incidents, patrol activities, and/or notable conditions, and relay important information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership.
