Job Description As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic financial institution location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and complete routine patrols while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and other security-related policies at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or public emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, access records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or client representatives.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
