As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns while supporting a positive customer experience. You will monitor activity, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities for a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, offices, and exterior perimeter areas, observing for unusual activity that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Control access to restricted areas by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization as required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations.
  • Complete routine reports and documentation of patrols, incidents, and irregularities, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
