About The Position

Providing security in/around the hospital, facilities, campus, ancillary clinics and parking structures. Concentrates on the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff. Responding immediately to various levels of dispatch calls as a visible deterrent, investigating unusual circumstances, assisting with de-escalation, and security enforcement. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1 year of security experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proof of training in Froedtert-approved DAAT course within previous three years or ability to obtain certification within 120 days of hire.
• Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-700 and ICS-100 courses within six months of hire.
• Completion of Field Training Officer (FTO) program within 120 days.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and operation preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within three months of hire.
