About The Position
As a Security Officer at Fisher-Titus, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of all individuals and property within the medical center and its surrounding areas. This position is essential for maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors alike. You will be responsible for conducting regular patrols of the facilities, monitoring for any irregularities or potential hazards, and responding promptly to emergency situations. Your vigilance and proactive approach will help deter criminal activity and ensure that any incidents are addressed swiftly and effectively. In this role, you will be expected to complete detailed reports of any incidents or unusual occurrences, utilizing two-way radios for communication with your team and local emergency services. You will also conduct safety inspections of the premises, ensuring that all safety equipment is functioning correctly and that the environment remains secure. Your responsibilities will include providing physical security, monitoring entrances and exits, and ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas. You will also be tasked with providing assistance to patients and visitors, which may include offering first aid or emotional support when needed.
