Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions or certain misdemeanors.
• Must pass a drug test at the time of hire and annually thereafter.
• Must have a working cell phone and ability to make hourly wellness calls.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to multiple locations.
• Must adhere to grooming and appearance policies.
• Must possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, customers, and co-workers.
• Guard posts, which may include outdoor positions, building lobbies, or reception areas.
• Utilize personal cell phone to make hourly wellness calls to the DK Command Center during overnight shifts.
• Conduct hourly foot patrols of the interior and exterior to check that entrances, doors, windows, and vents are secure against break-ins and take inventory of on-site equipment.
• Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.
• Check employee and vendor identifications.
• Look for suspicious persons, packages, and activities.
• Follow site-specific post guidelines and report hazardous conditions and items in need of repair.
