About The Position
The Security Officer at Farmington Hills Hospital is responsible for maintaining a safe and peaceful environment for all individuals on hospital property. Under general supervision and following standardized policies and procedures, the officer is tasked with maintaining a secure and orderly environment and protecting the grounds and off-site buildings for Corewell Health. This includes ensuring the safety of all employees, visitors, and patients. The position may require Armed Security Officers to obtain Public Act 330 certification, allowing them to arrest for misdemeanor offenses, and must complete the Michigan State Police PA 330 certification requirements.
