The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and fellow employees. This role includes providing directions and escorting customers in need, assisting civil and law enforcement authorities, and making chip fills and jackpot verifications. The officer regularly escorts money and individuals in money-handling positions and provides first aid, including CPR when necessary. The position requires patrolling all sections of the property to identify safety hazards and security breaches, interviewing and documenting incidents in accordance with company policy, and enforcing all company policies and procedures. Attendance guidelines must be met, and adherence to regulatory, departmental, and company policies is essential.
