As a Security Officer - Government X-Ray Screener in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal in a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and monitoring assigned areas. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
X ray screening experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and screen individuals entering the government facility, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures to help maintain order within the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach.
Monitor entrances and exits to help control access to restricted areas.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to help promote a secure environment.
