As a Security Officer - Visitor Check-In Desk in Lodi, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting access control at a food and beverage production location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and help maintain an organized flow of people and deliveries. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams to help reduce security-related incidents. Bring strong customer service, reliability, and integrity to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification, checking credentials against approved access lists, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic by confirming delivery and pickup appointments, checking shipping documentation, directing traffic flow to designated docks and staging areas, and reporting irregularities per post orders.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and communication systems for security-related concerns, document observations in reports, and notify site management and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with controlled evacuations when directed, and completing detailed incident documentation.
