About The Position

As a Security Officer Gatehouse Attendant in Lodi, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain access records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unauthorized access, damaged doors and/or gates, and other conditions that could impact daily operations.
• Support visitor management activities by assisting with sign-in processes, directing guests and deliveries to appropriate areas, and helping to deter unauthorized entry through consistent access screening practices.
