About The Position

Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional in a dynamic corporate location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, support security-related procedures, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this primarily stationary role, you will help create a professional first impression while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and driven by a people-first culture and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific policies, access procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor the front desk area, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive screening and communication.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional lobby experience while documenting visits, deliveries, and other security-related activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Operate communication systems and front desk technology, complete required reports, and support security-related procedures for badges, keys, and visitor registration.
