As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to calls for assistance, and provide professional customer service through clear communication and reporting. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and post orders at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas such as production floors, storage areas, loading docks, break areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, assist with sign-in processes, and help manage delivery driver check-in and dock traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate observations and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
