As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers and team members with clear communication, report concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and/or store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation and contacting law enforcement or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the perimeter, as assigned by post orders and client requirements.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft indicators, and/or policy violations, and help to deter unwanted activity through high-visibility presence and professional communication.
- Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate pertinent information to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
